A family story

From a hundred years the lands of the Giarola family are cultivated in vineyards. A century of stories, traditions, teachings, a heritage of values, handed down from generation to generation.

The history of the Giarola family dates back to the last century when they began to cultivate its vineyards on the slopes and valleys of the soft moraine hills. Skilled hands of great tireless workers, and a common project of passion for the vine handed down from father to son.

In 1968 Umberto Giarola began the vinification of his grapes, too much ambition to see the work of his master father completed, and finally collect the juice of that fruit, and to become able to give him a name. At last, wines with the “Giarola” brand were born.

Keeping strong passion, dedication and humility in administering the company, today the sons of Umberto Giarola, Michele and Valeriano are holding the reins of the company. The developments from the 90s to today have been multiple, from the vineyards to the winery, a perfect combination of tradition and innovation.
